Current managing director Verney Wood Jnr took over from his father Verney Wood Snr in 2007 and is proud of the firms record of service.
He said "When my Grandfather took over Adams & Sons Ltd in the early 1950s he decided to maintain the company name as the company had been on the site for many years and was well known".
"Whilst we are proud of our working history, the company has always moved with the times to ensure that we can offer the best possible service".
"For instance , our qualified technicians operate the latest diagnostic equipment when servicing and repairing customers vehicles". In 2013 we we installed a state of the art MOT testing bay to increase productivity".
We offer all servicing requirements from MOTS and Oil Changes to Full Services to manufacturers specifications on all makes and models, Cambelt Changes, Bodywork Estimates and Wheel Refurbishment, AirCon Servicing, Wheel Tracking and Alignment and a full Tyre repair and Change and Supply Service, offering competitive prices on all.
One of the Company's key aims is to make customers feel at ease when browsing the range of vehicles on offer.
Verney Wood Snr said: "We are sensitive to the fact that many people are not comfortable walking into a car dealership, whether for servicing or to buy a car.
"Thats a shame because buying a car should be a pleasure. At Adams & Sons we try our very best to make the customer feel at home and relaxed in the knowledge we are looking after them. Customers are treated with respect and in a friendly manner.
